Rodin have announced that Alex Dunne will stay with the team for the 2026 F2 season.
Dunne finished his rookie season fifth in the drivers’ standings in which he took victories in Bahrain and Emilia Romagna Feature Races, plus six further podium finishes as he challenged for the title until the penultimate round of the campaign.
The 20 year-old Irish driver is “really happy” to stay with Rodin and is keen to challenge for the title again next season with experience under his belt.
“I’m really happy to be staying with Rodin for the 2026 season; I’ve built a great relationship with the whole team and the way we work together is really positive. I’m confident that we will be fighting for the title next year.”
Rodin’s Sporting Director, Benn Huntingford added: “We’re really pleased to have Alex back with the team for a second year. He’s made strong progress throughout this season and we’ve seen real maturity in how he approaches his work both on and off the track.
“With the experience he’s gained and the continuity we now have, I’m confident he can take another big step forward. It’s great to continue this journey together.”
Dunne will partner Martinius Stenshorne next season, with the pair having contested the last two rounds of the 2025 season together after Amaury Cordeel left the team.
