2025-26 League Two: Week 19 – Bromley vs Crawley

Bromley host Crawley in a huge Sky Bet League Two clash affecting both ends of the table.

Victory could see Bromley climb as high as third if MK Dons and Notts County lose elsewhere, whilst Crawley can stay 19th with a win.

Team News

Bromley have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 3-1 defeat at Walsall, with Carl Jenkinson still building up his fitness following a lengthy hip injury and unlikely to be available for selection.

Crawley will welcome Charlie Barker back into contention after he was suspended for their 4-3 defeat at Salford.

Dion Conroy and Gavin Holohan will return after a month out with unspecified injuries.

Max Anderson (thigh), Ben Radcliffe (unspecified), Danny Cashman (back) and Scott Malone (hip) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Bromley host Crawley at Copperjax Stadium on Tuesday 9 December at 7:45pm GMT, live on Sky Sports+ in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • This is Bromley’s first EFL meeting against Crawley.
  • Crawley are making their first EFL visit to Bromley.
  • Bromley’s Michael Cheek has converted 20 of his 47 shots onto target this season in League Two, of which eight of those 20 shots on target were scored.
  • Crawley have won just one of their 12 away games in all competitions this season (W1, D2, L9).

Prediction

Having sat top of the table briefly at Walsall with a slender 1-0 lead amidst a host of wasted chances, Bromley arguably could of shut up shop and gone super defensive in the second half to protect that lead but they eventually had no answer for Walsall’s improved second-half attacking display.

Their priority now though has to be on producing a strong reaction because this is the sort of game against struggling opposition that they must win if want to push for promotion, especially when they’re yet to lose at home in the league this season.

Crawley meanwhile are just a defensive mess with just one clean sheet in their last 13 matches across all competitions and an awful away record this season, but they do have goals within them with ex Bromley forward – Harry McKirdy as their top goalscorer with four goals.

Although I would expect Crawley to try and take the fight and get at least one goal, I do think that Bromley have the momentum and quality needed to pounce on their visitors’ defence such is their attacking pace and play to get the win.

Prediction: Bromley 2-1 Crawley

Result: Bromley 3-1 Crawley
