Stat Attack
- Fulham have lost just one of their last seven league meetings against Palace (W2, D4, L1).
- Palace are unbeaten in their last six league visits to Fulham (W3, D3).
- Last season’s league meetings saw Fulham and Palace record 2-0 away wins at each other’s grounds.
- Fulham have kept two disciplinary clean sheets in their seven league games at home this season.
- Palace have claimed four points in three London derbies so far this season (W1, D1, L1).
Prediction
Having found their attacking flair since returning from the international break, Fulham certainly took the fight to Man City when could of just dropped their heads at 3-0 down yet they dug in and took the fight to their shaky defence until the very end even though in vain.
Palace meanwhile delivered a more clinical display at Burnley because they brought their usual attacking intensity and once they got ahead amidst some wasteful finishing, they managed to shut up shop defensively to get the win even if meant last-ditch clearances at times.
This clash therefore feels like it could be a case of first goal is crucial because if Fulham get in front, I can see them winning but if Palace get ahead then they will need a second goal just to be sure as Fulham are in better goalscoring form than Burnley and will grind it out until full time.
With that in mind, my instinct is that this could well finish in a draw.
Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Crystal Palace
Result: Fulham 1-2 Crystal Palace
