2025-26 Premier League: Week 15 – Tottenham vs Brentford

Tottenham meet Brentford in a mid-table Premier League clash as Thomas Frank comes up against his former club.

Victory could put Tottenham up to seventh for at least a few hours if Everton lose at home to Nottingham Forest.

Brentford can leapfrog their hosts and go as high as seventh depending on the size of their winning margin and if Everton lose to Forest.

Team News

Tottenham have no fresh injury concerns after their 2-2 draw at Newcastle.

Radu Dragusin (ACL), Kota Taki (foot), Yves Bissouma (ankle), James Maddison (ACL), Dejan Kulusevski (knee) and Dominic Solanke (ankle) are still ruled out.

Brentford could welcome Aaron Hickey back after he sat out their 2-0 defeat at Arsenal in midweek, due to a knock.

Reiss Nelson is available after he was ineligible for the trip to Arsenal but Fabio Carvalho, Josh Dasilva and Antoni Milambo remain sidelined with ACL injuries.

When is Kick-Off?

Tottenham host Brentford at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 6 December at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Having been convincingly outplayed at Newcastle amidst some sloppy moments in an otherwise resilient defensive effort and clinical attacking pieces of play, Tottenham need to find a way to get back to winning ways if want to lift the pressure and push for European qualification.

Brentford however weren’t really likely to get anything other than a goal in their defeat at Arsenal but given how dominant the Gunners were, I think the Bees should be pleased with their defensive effort despite poor marking of both goals as this game is more winnable.

This clash though should be interesting because Thomas Frank knows how his Bees play which could help Spurs tactically, yet Brentford know his style well so I expect both teams to cancel each other out initially and wouldn’t be surprised if this is a draw.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Brentford

Result: Tottenham 2-0 Brentford
