Roundup of the latest Sky Bet Championship action as Coventry continued their dominance.

Ellis Simms’ brace saw Coventry stay top with a 3-1 comeback victory at home to Charlton after Josh Eccles cancelled out Harvey Knibbs’ opener.

Second-half goals from Matt Targett and Morgan Whittaker saw Middlesbrough come from behind to defeat Derby 2-1 at home in Kim Hellberg’s first official match in charge.

Tristian Crama netted a 97th-minute winner as third-placed Millwall defeated Southampton 3-2 at The Den from behind after Adam Armstrong put the visiting Saints ahead from the spot, before Femi Azeez and Caleb Taylor turned the game around until Finn Azaz dragged the Saints level.

Stoke slipped to fourth with a 2-1 home defeat to Hull in which Sorba Thomas’ opener was cancelled out by Semi Ajayi, before Joe Gelhardt completed the Tigers’ comeback with a 90th-minute finish.

Down in the relegation zone, Sheffield Wednesday remained rock bottom following a 3-2 defeat at home to fifth-placed Preston in which the Owls’ Charlie McNeill scored either side of Ben Whiteman’s equaliser, only for Lewis Dobbin and Mads Frokjaer-Jensen to seal the visitors second-half comeback.

Norwich remained second-bottom despite claiming a 3-1 home win over QPR through Amadou Mbengue’s own-goal and Amankwah Forson’s effort, after Emiliano Marcondes’ opener was cancelled out by Rumarn Burrell in a dramatic first half thriller.

Portsmouth slipped to third bottom with a 1-0 defeat at home to Bristol City as Anis Mehmeti netted a 17th-minute winner for the Robins, which saw the visitors round out the top six.

Elsewhere, Jayson Molumby’s 85th-minute winner saw West Brom complete a 3-2 comeback at home to Swansea after Aune Heggebo’s brace cancelled out early goals from the Swans’ Zan Vipotnik and Ethan Galbraith.

Leif Davis’ equaliser couldn’t prevent Ipswich losing 2-1 at Oxford United as Mark Harris and Przemyslaw Placheta netted for the Us, before Kieran McKenna’s Tractor Boys then drew 1-1 at Blackburn after Sindre Walle Egeli cancelled out Andri Gudjohnsen’s opener.

The latter result also marked Blackburn’s second 1-1 draw in the space of three days after they were held at Wrexham as Gudjohnsen’s opener was cancelled out by Max Cleworth’s injury-time equaliser.

Second-half goals from Stephy Mavididi and Jordan James proved consolatory for Leicester in a 3-2 defeat at home to Sheffield United, with Tom Cannon, Jairo Riedewald and Sydie Peck having completed a dominant first half for the Blades.

Birmingham beat Watford 2-1 at St Andrew’s Stadium in Monday Night Football through first-half goals from Paik Seung-Ho and Demarai Gray, although Othmane Maamma denied them a clean sheet.
