Aston Villa host Young Boys in a league phase clash in the 2025-26 UEFA Europa League.
Victory would keep Villa in the top eight, whilst Young Boys can move up into the seeded positions within the knockout play-off placings with a win.

When is Kick-Off?
Villa host Young Boys at Villa Park on Thursday 27 November in a 5:45pm GMT kick-off, live on TNT Sports 2 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Aston Villa won 3-0 in their only previous meeting against Young Boys, which came in last season’s Champions League.
- Young Boys are making their first visit to Villa in all competitions.
- Villa have kept clean sheets in three of their four league phase matches this season (W3, L1).
- Young Boys have kept one clean sheet in three of their four league phase matches this season (W2, L2).
Prediction
After a second-half comeback at Leeds where they were dominant but lacked composure in the first half, Villa will be pleased with that win and now need to take the confidence from that game because this is a huge chance to consolidate their push to bypass the knockout play-offs.
Young Boys meanwhile are a difficult team to call in my opinion because their defence isn’t the best but they have scored in three of their four fixtures with five different goalscorers, which is something that Villa might need to be wary of if they don’t tighten up defensively.
I however do think that this could be one-sided because Villa should have enough quality to comfortably beat Young Boys.
Prediction: Aston Villa 2-0 Young Boys
Result: Aston Villa 2-1 Young Boys
