UEFA have unveiled the branding for Euro 2028 alongside the match schedule for the tournament.

The colourful logo for the tournament has been designed to celebrate the feelings of football fans, encompassing emotion, unity and joy of shared experience with the Henri Delaunay Trophy at the heart of the design, whilst the colours reflect the host nations of UK and Ireland.

UEFA President, Aleksandr Ceferin described football as “the universal language” which “… expresses passion, skill, courage, solidarity and respect better than any other, and it constantly reminds us that our differences are exactly what make our sport so beautiful.”

Ceferin proceeded to acknowledge the fact that modern football began in England as he added: “The host nations, where the game first took shape, are eager to welcome millions of fans into legendary stadiums, providing the right stage for a festival of emotions, vividly encapsulated in the design we presented today.

The fans will be the beating heart of this tournament.”

In line with the decision to move UEFA club tournament finals to 6pm CET kick-offs, Euro 2028 Final will kick off at 5pm BST on 9 July at Wembley Stadium, London, with focus on trying “… to maximise the fan experience, in the venues and around the world, so more people than ever can fully enjoy what promises to be one of the year’s greatest events.”

Wembley will also host the semi-finals plus England’s second and third group matches should the Three Lions qualify, with their group opener set to be held at the Etihad Stadium.

Cardiff will play host to the tournament opener at Millennium Stadium on Friday 9 June 2028, which could involve Wales who would play their group matches there if they qualify for the tournament.

If Scotland and Ireland too qualify, they will play their group matches at Hampden Park, Glasgow, and Aviva Stadium, Dublin, respectively with 24 teams set to be involved across 51 matches across 31 days within the tournament.

Should Northern Ireland qualify for the tournament, they will play their group matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Villa Park and Wembley.
