2025-26 UEFA Champions League: League Phase – Slavia Prague vs Arsenal

Slavia Prague entertain Arsenal in the league phase of 2025-26 UEFA Champions League.

Victory would lift Slavia Prague into the knockout play-off spots, whilst Arsenal can go top with a win ahead of the late-evening kick-offs.

Team News

Slavia Prague have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 2-0 domestic league victory over Banik.

Jan Boril (unspecified), Filip Horsky, Petr Sevcik (both ACL), Tomas Holes, Dominik Javorcek (both knee), Igoh Ogbu (hamstring) and Ivan Schranz (muscle)

Arsenal will likely be without Viktor Gyokeres after he suffered a muscle injury in their 2-0 victory at Burnley in the Premier League.

Martin Zubimendi is suspended after he picked up yellow cards in each of their three league phase games so far.

Gabriel Martinelli (muscle), Martin Odegaard, Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus (all knee) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Slavia Prague host Arsenal at Fortuna Arena on Tuesday 4 November at 6:45pm CET (5:45pm GMT), live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.

Prediction

Unbeaten at home in all competitions this season, Slavia Prague certainly can’t be underestimated if they can discover their goalscoring spark on the European stage – having drawn blanks in their last two games, although their injury crisis won’t do them much favours in this game.

Arsenal meanwhile haven’t conceded in their last seven games in all competitions after a dominant first-half performance at Burnley where they looked comfortable in control, before they saw out the second half with a resilient defensive display.

Gyokeres’ absence might naturally have an impact such is his quality if he isn’t fit enough, but I do think that Arsenal will have enough strength and quality to see out the win if can continue their current form against a home team who are lacking goals in the league phase.

Prediction: Slavia Prague 0-2 Arsenal

Result: Slavia Prague 0-3 Arsenal
