Premier League have unveiled the UK broadcast selection across late December 2025 – early January 2026.

With a 60-hour rest period now in place between matches this season across the festive period, Sky will kick off the post Xmas-Day festivities with Manchester United’s clash against Newcastle at Old Trafford on Boxing Day in a 8pm GMT kick-off.

Sky’s festive weekend continues with Chelsea’s home fixture against Aston Villa on Saturday 27 December at 5:30pm, before Sunderland face Leeds in the first part of the Super Sunday double-header on 28 December at 2pm, which is followed by Tottenham’s trip to Crystal Palace at 4:30pm.

TNT Sports meanwhile will broadcast Manchester City’s trip to Nottingham Forest at 12:30pm on 27 December.

The entire fixture list of matchweek 19 will be broadcast live on Sky, with Arsenal’s home game against Aston Villa headlining the six fixtures played on 30 December.

Four further fixtures will take place on New Year’s Day as Crystal Palace and Liverpool’s home encounters against Fulham and Leeds respectively are scheduled for 5:30pm, whilst Thomas Frank takes Tottenham back to Brentford for the first time since his departure in a 8pm kick-off.

The other primetime kick-off that evening sees Manchester City visit Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in a simultaneous 8pm kick-off.

Sky’s scheduling consequently had a knock-on effect for matchweek 20 which will unusually see nearly every match broadcast live despite being a designated weekend round, starting with Nottingham Forest’s trip to Aston Villa on 3 January at 12:30pm before Bournemouth host Arsenal at 5:30pm.

Sunday 4 January’s action commences at Elland Road as Leeds host Man Utd in a 12:30pm kick-off on TNT Sports.

Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leeds and Liverpool’s involvement in the New Year’s Day action have seen their matchweek 20 fixtures shuffled to 4 January, and the following fixtures consequently will be shown live on Sky alongside their main pick – Sunderland’s trip to Tottenham.

That round’s action concludes at the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City face Chelsea in a 5:30pm kick-off.

West Ham’s trip to Wolves will be the sole untelevised tie in the UK from that round of games, with the clash at Molineux confirmed for 3pm on Saturday 3 January.

Sky will then show the entirety of matchweek 21 in the midweek of 6-8 January, beginning with Nuno Espirito Santo’s West Ham hosting his former team, Nottingham Forest on 6 January at 8pm.

Eight ties will be played across 7:30pm and 8:15pm timeslots on Wednesday 7 January, with Burnley’s home game against Man Utd headlining that night’s selection in the latte slot, whilst Fulham’s West-London derby against Chelsea steals the spotlight amongst the 7:30pm kick-offs.

That round concludes on Thursday 8 January at Emirates Stadium as Arsenal host Liverpool in a primetime blockbuster at 8pm.
