Premier League Unveil UK Festive Broadcast Picks

Premier League have unveiled the UK broadcast picks across the 2026 festive period. 

Whilst broadcast picks for November and December prior to the festive fortnight haven’t been officially finalised, the Premier League, Sky Sports and TNT Sports brought forward the festive broadcast picks to provide fans with adequate travel planning.

Sky will broadcast 29 matches between 26 December 2026 and 7 January 2027, which begins with a Boxing Day double-header as Hull host Liverpool at 5:30pm GMT before Newcastle entertain Manchester City in the Saturday Night Football at 8pm.

All 10 fixtures in matchweek 18 across 29-30 December will be broadcast live across Sky, with Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham facing his former team, Brighton & Hove Albion in the stand-out tie of that round on Tuesday 29 December at 7:30pm.

The last Premier League matches played in 2026 will take place at Villa Park and Portman Road as Villa host Liverpool and Chelsea visit Ipswich at 8:15pm on Wednesday 30 December.

2027 will be rung in with a New Year’s Day fixture on Sky at Elland Road, as Leeds face Everton in the first match of the new calendar year on Friday 1 January at 8pm.

Sky will also show Aston Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham’s trips to Bournemouth, Chelsea and Man City respectively across 2-3 January.

Matchweek 20 will see every match broadcast live across Sky between 5-7 January, commencing with Arsenal’s home clash against Brentford on Tuesday 5 January amongst four 7:30pm kick-offs that evening, whilst Sunderland host Liverpool in the late kick-off at 8:15pm.

The festive fortnight concludes at Old Trafford on Thursday 7 January as Manchester United host Newcastle at 8pm that evening.

TNT’s two festive offerings will come from Villa Park and AMEX Stadium respectively as Villa host Leeds at 12:30pm on Boxing Day, before Brighton host Man Utd in the same slot on 2 January.
