2025-26 Premier League: Week 10 – Fulham vs Wolves

Fulham entertain Wolves in a massive showdown by the River Thames in the race for Premier League survival.

Victory could put Fulham as high as 14th if Burnley and Leeds both lose elsewhere, whilst Wolves can move up to 18th if Nottingham Forest suffer defeat at home to Manchester United.

Team News

Raul Jimenez is a doubt for Fulham after he suffered a hip injury during their Carabao Cup win at Wycombe on penalties, having played out a 1-1 draw.

Joachim Andersen (muscle), Samuel Chukwueze (calf), Emile Smith Rowe (thigh) and Harry Wilson (knock) are fit for selection.

Antonee Robinson (leg) and Rodrigo Muniz (hamstring) remain absent.

Wolves will be without Matt Docherty (knee) and Rodrigo Gomes (groin) after the pair had to be substituted in their 4-3 Carabao Cup exit against Chelsea.

Leon Chiwone (ACL) remains sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Fulham host Wolves at Craven Cottage on Saturday 1 November at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Fulham have won just two of their last 10 meetings against Wolves (W2, D3, L5).
  • Wolves have lost one of their last five league trips to Fulham (W2, D2, L1).
  • Fulham have scored in six of their last seven home games against Wolves, except for a 1-0 loss in April 2021.
  • Fulham haven’t lost five consecutive league matches under manager, Marco Silva since his arrival in summer 2021.
  • Wolves have scored just one goal in four away league matches (D1, L3).

Prediction

Despite currently being on a four-match losing run in the league, Fulham haven’t exactly played too badly in their last two top-flight games aside from costly defensive errors but they really should of dispatched Wycombe in the Carabao Cup without penalties such was their dominance.

Wolves meanwhile showed signs of attacking progress in their defeats at home to Burnley and Chelsea in league and Carabao Cup respectively, but their defensive play and inability to take chances when still in the fight are still massive concerns.

There is however no doubt that Wolves are beginning to settle but unless they can cut out their defensive sloppiness, I don’t see them winning here but Fulham’s defence has their own issues so I expect a tough fight which could well be a point apiece.

Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Wolves

Result: Fulham 3-0 Wolves
