Nottingham Forest host Manchester United in a big Premier League clash at both ends of the table.
Victory or a draw will see Forest stay 18th but the former would see them only stay in the bottom three on goal difference if Fulham lose elsewhere.
Man Utd can move up to second with a win for at least a few hours.
Team News
Forest will be without goalkeeper, Angus Gunn after he suffered a knee injury in training.
Ola Aina (hamstring), Dilane Bakwa (unspecified), Chris Wood (knee) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (groin) are still ruled out.
Man Utd could be without Harry Maguire due to a knock.
Lisandro Martinez remains absent with a knee injury until after the international break.
When is Kick-Off?
Forest face Man Utd at the City Ground on Saturday 1 November at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Forest have won their last three Premier League meetings against Man Utd (W3).
- Man Utd have avoided defeat in six of eight previous Premier League trips to Forest (W4, D2, L2)
- Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White has scored in two of his last three league appearances against Utd.
- No Forest player has created more shot-creating actions in the top flight this season than Elliot Anderson (39).
- Bryan Mbeumo has been involved in more league goals than any other Utd player this season (5), having produced four goals and one assist in nine appearances.
Prediction
Although defeat at Bournemouth was always likely, Forest didn’t play too badly with both conceded goals not really their fault as they did do the basics well – albeit without much of a clinical edge, but they have now had a week of full training under Sean Dyche.
Man Utd meanwhile seem to have turned a corner now that Ruben Amorim’s approach finally seems to have somehow clicked with the squad, which was evident in the attacking play of their win over Brighton but their defensive vulnerability still remains an issue,
Although Forest will definitely give Utd a fight such is their recent form against the Red Devils, I just can’t see them winning this and Dyche has an awful record as manager against the visitors, so this will be about minimising a defeat and putting out a solid performance.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Man Utd
Result: Nottingham Forest 2-2 Man Utd
