2025-26 Premier League: Week 10 – Brighton vs Leeds

Brighton & Hove Albion host Leeds United in a mid-table Premier League encounter.

If Crystal Palace and Brentford draw in their clash, victory could lift Brighton as high as seventh in the table.

Leeds can leapfrog Brighton with a win and go as high as 11th in the table.

Team News

Brighton have no fresh injury concerns to report following their Carabao Cup exit at Arsenal in midweek.

Jack Hinshelwood (ankle), James Milner (muscle), Kaoru Mitoma (foot), Brajan Gruda (knee), Joel Veltman (calf), Solly March and Adam Webster (both knee) remain sidelined.

Leeds will have Gabriel Gudmundsson available after he recovered from a dead leg suffered in the first half of their 2-1 win over West Ham last weekend.

Wilfried Gnonto (calf/hernia) could return but Harry Gray (hip) remains sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Brighton host Leeds at AMEX Stadium on Saturday 1 November at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Having suffered two tough away defeats in the past week in separate competitions, Brighton will be relieved to be at home with a favourable fixture but they will be ruing a wasteful display at Arsenal which was winnable so I expect a strong reaction if can tidy their end product.

Leeds meanwhile absolutely dominated West Ham in the first half of their match before showing defensive resilience to see out the win, even though they did give themselves a nervy finish with a late piece of tame marking of Matheus Fernandes’ header.

I however do expect this to be a close game but with home advantage and an unbeaten Premier League record against Leeds, I fancy Brighton to deliver the ideal response.

Prediction: Brighton 2-1 Leeds

Result: Brighton 3-0 Leeds
