Sandro Tonali is a doubt for Newcastle due to illness, although he was an unused substitute in their 3-0 Champions League victory at home to Benfica.
Harrison Ashby (thigh), Lewis Hall (hamstring), Tino Livramento and Yoane Wissa (both knee) remain absent.
Fulham could welcome Sasa Lukic back after he missed their home loss to Arsenal with a muscle injury.
Tom Cairney (back) and Harry Wilson (knock) are doubts but Joachim Andersen (muscle) is ruled out.
Antonee Robinson (leg), Samuel Chukwueze (calf) and Rodrigo Muniz (hamstring) remain absent.

Prediction
Having comfortably dispatched Benfica in a massive confidence-boosting display where they looked more hungry and confident throughout, Newcastle now need to bring that energy into this match because another win here will set them up for their Carabao Cup tie against Tottenham on Wednesday.
Fulham meanwhile gave Arsenal a stubborn fight and could of easily got a draw if not for a costly moment of loose marking from a corner delivery, so I am expecting more of the same but they are yet to find a win on the road this season.
If Fulham do produce a similar resilient display, I do expect this to be a grinder for Newcastle but my instinct is that Newcastle will nick this.
