Scuderia Ferrari junior, Dino Beganovic has re-joined DAMS for the 2026 F2 season.
Beganovic previously made his F2 debut with DAMS in the final two rounds of the 2024 season as replacement for Juan Manuel Correa, and amassed 22 points across three of the four races although he was classified in the top ten finishers across all four races.
This season though has proven tougher for Beganovic following his move to Hitech GP although he managed three third-placed finishes plus a maiden F2 victory in the Azerbaijan Sprint and sits eighth in the standings going into the final two rounds of the campaign.
The 21-year-old consequently decided to make an “extremely happy” return to DAMS for his second full F2 season in 2026, having felt happy with the French team last season.
“I felt an instant connection with the team last year — both on a professional and human level — and we showed great potential together, including a podium in Abu Dhabi.
“I’m grateful for the trust they’ve placed in me, and for the continued support from the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy. The goal now is to build on the progress we’ve made and fight consistently at the front.”
DAMS’ owner and ex F1 driver, Charles Pic added: “We were impressed by Dino’s maturity and professionalism during his first outings with us. His work ethic, technical understanding and consistency perfectly match the values of our team.
“We’re thrilled to welcome him back for this next step in his career, and we’re confident we can achieve great things together.”
