2025-26 League Two: Week 10 – Swindon vs Bromley

Swindon host Bromley in a massive League Two encounter in the race for promotion.

Victory could put Swindon top if Gillingham lose and Salford plus Walsall fail to win elsewhere, whilst Bromley can climb as high as fifth with a win depending on results elsewhere.

Team News

Ryan Tafazolli could be in line for his Swindon debut as he nears a return from his Achilles injury.

James Ball, Billy Bodin (both knee) and Princewill Ehibhatiomhan (illness) could return but

Ryan Delaney (knee), Harrison Minturn and Harry Smith (both ACL) remain absent.

Bromley have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 2-2 draw against Chesterfield.

Carl Jenkinson remains absent with a hip injury.

When is Kick-Off?

Swindon host Bromley at the County Ground on Saturday 27 September at 3pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

With just one clean sheet so far this season in all competitions yet packed with plenty of goals and attacking quality, Swindon can’t be underestimated but they will be frustrated to had lost at Salford 3-2 after coming from 2-0 down to level the game.

Bromley though are gutsy grafters despite their tendency to give away some sloppy goals and not build on early leads solidly enough lately, so a huge resilient defensive effort is needed here with no silliness if they want a result given how close the play-off area is looking now.

If they can achieve that then a smash-and-grab just like last season’s trip could be on the cards but I do think that this could be a close draw.

Prediction: Swindon 1-1 Bromley

Result: Swindon 2-0 Bromley
