Leicester City host Midlands rivals, Coventry City in a massive Championship clash as the pair battle for promotion.
If Middlesbrough and Stoke both taste defeat, victory could put Leicester top if win by at least a two-goal margin.
Coventry meanwhile can leapfrog the Foxes with a win and go second if Stoke lose and West Brom fail to win elsewhere.

Leicester will be without midfielder, Aaron Ramsey after he was red carded in their comeback 2-2 draw at Oxford United.

When is Kick-Off?
Leicester face Coventry at King Power Stadium on Saturday 20 September at 12:30pm BST, live on Sky Sports Main Event and Football in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Leicester have lost just one of their last eight meetings against Coventry (W3, D4, L1).
- Coventry are winless in their last nine trips to Leicester (D2, L7).
- Ex Leicester midfielder, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored three goals in their two meetings against Coventry in 2023-24 season (W1, L1).
- Three of Leicester’s four goals at home this season were scored in the second half (W2).
- Haji Wright and Victor Torp have scored in each of Coventry’s two away games this season (W1, D1).
Prediction
Having twice battled their way to an eventual 2-2 draw at Oxford Utd, Leicester need to start playing with the quality that they’re capable of delivering because their defence does seem like their weakness despite grinding out clean sheets against Charlton and Birmingham last month.
Coventry meanwhile are a gutsy team who don’t know when they’re beaten and given Leicester’s tendency to score more in the second half at home, Frank Lampard’s Blues know that they have a decent chance of points if can score early ideally in the first half and be consistent throughout.
Nevertheless I expect this to be a tough contest and a draw wouldn’t be a bad result for either team at this stage of the season, other than more dropped points.
Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Coventry
Result: Leicester 0-0 Coventry
