MP Motorsport have retained Williams F1 junior, Alessandro Giusti for the 2026 F3 season.
Giusti achieved a tenth-placed championship finish in his rookie season with two podium finishes, which saw him finish third in the Spanish Feature Race then second in the British Sprint Race.
“I’m extremely happy to stay with MP Motorsport for a second season in FIA Formula 3”, explained the 18-year-old French driver who is feeling confident that he and the team can build on their momentum next season.
“I feel really comfortable in this team, having built a very good relationship over the past year. I feel confident for the future as I found a family there. We will keep working hard during the winter to come back even stronger in 2026. I can’t wait to be back behind the wheel already!”
MP Motorsport Team Principal, Sander Dorsman added that Giusti’s decision to stay with the team for his second F3 campaign is “wonderful” for the crew who will be eager to challenge for the title with him next season, whilst he will partner Mattia Colnaghi and an unannounced driver.
“His debut year in F3 has shown all the hallmarks of a quick learner who is set to shine in the all-important second season in the category.
“This year, we have built a strong foundation with Alessandro and I look forward to seeing our work bear fruit in 2026.
“Along with Mattia, we now have two immensely talented young drivers on our FIA F3 squad for next season that will help us to retain our position in the top ranks of the teams championship.”
