French forward, Randal Kolo Muani has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan from PSG.

Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus where he scored 10 goals in 22 appearances, having fallen out of favour at PSG after two goals in 14 appearances across the first half of last campaign.

He however failed to force his way back into the squad upon his return and consequently completed a deadline day loan move to Spurs for the season.

Kolo Muani will wear the number 39 shirt this season and is relieved to join the UEFA Europa League champions.

“I’m really happy and very proud to be at such a great club. I can’t wait to meet my team-mates, all the fans and to get out on the pitch.

“I know what the coach expects from me. I will fight hard for the shirt, the Club and the fans. I will give everything for this team.”

Spurs Head Coach, Thomas Frank added: “Randal is a quality player who has proven himself over a number of years, playing for big teams in the Champions League and also with good experience for the France national team.

“He’s a good age, in the prime of his career, has good qualities that will suit both us and the Premier League, and gives us a different option in the final third being able to play out wide and through the middle.

“We are all excited for what Randal can add to the squad, and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Kolo Muani began his career at Villepinte FC and went on to play for Tremblay and Torcy before he moved to Nantes, where he broke through into the their senior team in November 2018 in a 3-0 Ligue 1 defeat to Saint-Etienne.

He went on to net 23 goals in 87 appearances across three seasons at Nantes between 2018-22 and helped them win 2021-22 Coupe de France, although he spent 2019-20 season at Italy’s Bologna where he managed three goals in 15 appearances.

Summer 2022 saw Kolo Muani move to Eintracht Frankfurt which saw him go on to score 23 goals in 46 appearances across 22-23 season, followed by three goals in four appearances at the start of the following season before he moved to PSG in September 2023.

Despite his second-season struggles at PSG, Kolo Muani helped the team to consecutive Ligue 1 titles plus one Coupe de France and Trophee des Champions.

Kolo Muani represents France at international level with nine goals in 31 appearances.
