2025-26 Premier League: Week Three – Tottenham vs Bournemouth

Tottenham seek to continue their winning start to the Premier League season against Bournemouth.

Victory would put Tottenham top until Sunday teatime, whilst Bournemouth can stay in the top ten with a win.

Team News

Defender, Destiny Udogie could return for Tottenham after he missed their last three games with a knee injury.

Manor Solomon (calf), Yves Bissouma (unspecified), Radu Dragusin, James Maddison (both ACL), Dejan Kulusevski, Bryan Gil (both knee) and Kota Takai (foot) are ruled out.

Bournemouth will be without defender, Julian Araujo after he was red carded during their Carabao Cup exit against Brentford in midweek.

Enes Unal (knee) and Lewis Cook (knee) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Tottenham host Bournemouth at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 30 August at 3pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Still unbeaten after a clinically well-executed victory at Manchester City, Spurs should have belief that they could sit top going into the international break if can deliver another strong display but this time they should be able to dominate rather than play on the counter-attack.

Bournemouth though will be eager to bounce back after a wasteful display in their Carabao Cup exit against Brentford, which will surely motivate them and more so after they blew a two-goal lead here last season which will ring in the minds of those involved in that game.

My instinct is that this could be a pretty close game but given that Frank is Bournemouth’s bogey oppositional manager, I can see Tottenham claiming another win even if this is less comfortable than their last two results.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Bournemouth

Result: Tottenham 0-1 Bournemouth
