Bromley have signed midfielder, Alex Stepien-Iwumene on a free transfer.

Stepien-Iwumene spent pre-season with Andy Woodman’s Ravens as a trialist following his release from Derby County, having spent last season on loan at Eastleigh in the National League where he only made three appearances despite featuring in seven matchday squads.

The 20-year-old began his career at Sutton United before he moved to Southampton where he contributed one assist in 14 appearances for their Under-18 team, which was followed by a step up to the U21s squad midway through 2022-23 season with 11 total appearances at that level.

A move to Derby followed in July 2024 where he scored twice and created one assist in 18 appearances for their U21s team, but was released after just one season in Pride Park.

Bromley have confirmed that Stepien-Iwumene will wear the number 34 shirt this season.
