Bromley have signed goalkeeper, Dillon Addai on a free transfer.
Addai had participated in Bromley’s pre-season preparations for their second League Two campaign as a trialist during which he featured in their friendlies against Rotherham, Lincoln City and Chelsea,
Speaking about the upcoming season in his first interview on Bromley’s social media channels, Addai said that he is “looking forward to the season and what it’s going to bring.”
On what it means to be coached by a former goalkeeper turned manager in Andy Woodman, Addai quipped: “Yeah it’s very rare that you tend to find a manager that is an ex goalkeeper to be fair.
“So, it’s a pleasant surprise but no it’s good and I don’t want to say that changes anything because at the end of the day, like the manager is the manager but no it’s definitely is a nice sight to see.”

Addai began his career with Leicester before he joined Millwall’s Under-21s in 2023 and enjoyed loan spells at Erith & Belvedere, Hayes & Yeading, Ramsgate and Chesham United.
The 20 year-old also featured for Millwall in a pre-season friendly against Woodman’s Ravens in July 2024, but was released by the Lions at the end of last season who are now set to head to Bromley tomorrow (26 July) in a friendly fixture.
In his pre-match preview ahead of the Millwall friendly, Woodman described Addai as “a really young confident goalkeeper” who will provide solid “competition” for Grant Smith and Sam Long.
