BBC and ITV have announced their UK broadcast picks for the Quarter-Finals of UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.
BBC held first pick for this stage so naturally swooped for England’s blockbuster showdown against Group C winners, Sweden, of whom they beat 4-0 in the semi-finals en-route to their maiden title in this competition in 2022.
Sweden comfortably dispatched Germany 4-1 to top Group C in their final group match, whilst England thumped Wales 6-1 in their final Group D outing to qualify as runners-up in that group behind France, after the French recovered from 2-1 down to eliminate Netherlands with a 5-2 victory.
England’s tie against Sweden will be played in Zurich, Switzerland on Thursday 18 July, with live coverage commencing on BBC One from 7pm BST ahead of kick-off at 8pm UK Time.
ITV occupied second pick at this stage and selected the concluding blockbuster Quarter-Final between France and Germany for broadcast, which will take place on Saturday 19 July in Basel with ITVs coverage commencing at 7:10pm.
BBC consequently will have the Quarter-Finals scheduled for 16 and 18 July live on BBC One, starting with Norway’s clash against Italy in Geneva on 16 July, whilst Group B winners, Spain will face tournament hosts, Switzerland in Bern on 18 July with BBC’s coverage commencing at 7:30pm on both evenings.
All four Quarter-Final ties will kick off at 9pm CEST (8pm BST) across four evenings.
