Relegated Leicester will visit League One’s Huddersfield in the stand-out tie as two former Premier League teams meet in a tough-looking fixture.
Newly-promoted Birmingham City will host Ruben Selles’ Sheffield United in an all-Championship tie, with the Blades having lost last season’s play-off final to miss out on promotion to the top flight.
West Bromwich Albion will host Derby County in an all-Championship tie between the Midlands rivals at The Hawthorns.
Preliminary ties will be played across 5-6 August followed by first round fixtures a week later between 12-13 August, with winners advancing to the Second Round where the 11 Premier League clubs not qualified for European competitions enter – including Manchester United.
