Preston North End have signed forward, Daniel Jebbison on a season-long loan from Bournemouth.
This move marks Jebbison’s second Championship loan since he joined Premier League’s Bournemouth from Sheffield United in July 2024, having spent the first half of last season on loan at Watford with no goals in 13 appearances.
Jebbison is also reunited with his former Sheffield Utd boss, Paul Heckingbottom who joined Preston last summer and kept the Lilywhites up by a single point on the final day of last season.
Heckingbottom is excited to welcome Jebbison as he spoke highly of the 21-year-old with belief in his potential.
“I’m looking forward to working with Jebbo again. I’ve watched him play since he was a teenager and he was great to coach at Sheffield United.
“He‘s someone I always pushed to keep improving during our time together. I’ve always believed in his ability and his potential.
“I know how good he can be and we’re looking to get the best out of him while he’s here working with us.”
Jebbison began his career with ANB Futbol in Canada where he grew up before he joined Sheffield Utd in 2018, and proceeded to graduate into the Blades’ first-team squad where he scored three goals in 35 appearances.
During his time at Bramall Lane, Jebbison went on loan to Chorley then Burton Albion where he scored nine goals in 23 appearances for the Brewers in 2021-22 season,
July 2024 saw Jebbison secure a move to Bournemouth where he initially was loaned out to Watford before he was recalled in January 2025, in a shrewd move which saw him go on to net three goals in 21 total appearances for the Cherries – having played in the Carabao Cup before he headed to Watford.
