Forward, Aaron Drinan has signed a new two-year contract at Swindon Town until June 2027.
Drinan scored three goals and created one assist in 34 appearances across all competitions last season, as Swindon went from early relegation contenders to an eventual 12th-placed finish in League Two, although he suffered a season-ending knee injury in a 3-3 draw against Port Vale in February 2025.
Following confirmation of his new two-year contract which will keep him at the County Ground until June 2027, Drinan was pleased to commit his future to the club.
“I’m really pleased to be extending my stay at Swindon. I’ve enjoyed every minute here, and I believe we’re building something special. The fans have been brilliant, and I’m excited to keep pushing forward with the club over the next two seasons.”
“From the dressing room to the fans, everything about this club feels right to me. I’m really pleased to get the deal done.”
Drinan arrived at Swindon in February 2024 from Leyton Orient and managed four goals in 17 appearances across the second-half of 2023-24 season, meaning that he has scored seven goals in 51 total appearances so far during his time at the Wiltshire-based club.
