Prediction
Having produced a clinical win at Forest on Thursday evening, Brentford really need to bring their recent momentum into this game because they do have a great opportunity to push for a top-eight finish, yet they will need to show the same intensity and control if want to quieten an unpredictable Utd.
Man Utd meanwhile certainly produced a surprise with their ruthless Europa League victory at Athletic Bilbao but at 3-0 up in that tie, it is easy to expect them to go pretty strong here but they have nothing to play for domestically so I would be tempted to rest players especially with the home leg drama against Lyon a few weeks ago in mind.
Although United will hopefully try and make a fight of this, I do feel like Brentford have the momentum and confidence to win this game if Thursday’s action hasn’t tired them out.
