Roundup of latest Premier League action as the title battle eventually reached its climatic moment. 

Comeback goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Destiny Udogie’s own-goal saw Liverpool beat Tottenham 5-1 to secure their second Premier League title, after Dominic Solanke had headed Spurs into an early lead.

Eberechi Eze and Jean-Phillipe Mateta’s goals saw Crystal Palace twice fight back to draw 2-2 at second-placed Arsenal, after Jakub Kiwior’s header and Leandro Trossard’s strike had put the Gunners ahead either side of Eze’s initial equaliser.

Nottingham Forest missed a chance to stay in third place as they slipped to a 2-0 home defeat to Brentford, with Kevin Schade and Yoane Wissa on the scoresheet for the Bees.

Matheus Nunes’ 94th-minute winner saw Manchester City beat Aston Villa to move up to fourth after Bernardo Silva’s seventh-minute opening goal was cancelled out by Marcus Rashford’s penalty.

Down in the relegation zone, Ipswich’s relegation was confirmed after a 3-0 loss at Newcastle following Ben Johnson’s red card, as Alexander Isak’s penalty put the Magpies on course for a home victory and up to third which was confirmed through second-half headers from Dan Burn and William Osula.

Leicester stayed second-bottom with a 3-0 loss at Wolves where Matheus Cunha put the Old Gold ahead, before the Brazilian provided second-half assists to Jorgen Strand Larsen and Rodrigo Gomes to wrap up victory.

Southampton remained rock-bottom after they suffered a 2-1 loss at home to Fulham as Ryan Sessegnon headed in a 92nd-minute winner for the visitors, who had initially fell behind to Jack Stephens’ header which was cancelled out by Emile Smith Rowe’s deflected equaliser.

Elsewhere, Nicolas Jackson netted a 27th-minute winner as Chelsea kept their top-five ambitions alive with a 1-0 home win over Everton.

Late goals from Kaoru Mitoma and Carlos Baleba saw Brighton come from behind to beat West Ham 3-2 in a thriller, having led through Yasin Ayari’s strike before Mohammed Kudus and Tomas Soucek put the Hammers in front from behind.

Rasmus Højlund’s injury-time strike rescued Manchester United a 1-1 draw at ten-men Bournemouth, after the Cherries led through Antoine Semenyo’s first-half strike prior to Evanilson’s red card which was overturned on appeal.
