Bryan Mbeumo’s brace plus Yoane Wissa’s deflective effort and Christian Norgaard’s header saw Brentford beat ten-men Brighton 4-2 in a thriller, as Danny Welbeck and Kaoru Mitoma netted for the Seagulls amidst Joao Pedro’s red card for a hot-tempered reaction to a clash with Nathan Collins.
Manchester United’s winless run extended to four matches as the Red Devils slipped to a 1-0 loss at home to Wolves, as Pablo Sarabia curled in a 77th-minute free-kick to clinch a fifth consecutive victory for Vitor Pereira’s Old Gold.
Lesley Ugochukwu rescued relegated Southampton a 1-1 draw at West Ham after Jarrod Bowen had curled the Hammers in front in the 47th minute.
