Preston North End will host Aston Villa in the headline tie of the 2024-25 FA Cup Quarter-Finals.
Paul Heckingbottom’s Lilywhites are the lowest-ranked team left after they beat Lancashire rivals, Burnley 3-0 to secure their first appearance at this stage in 59 years, and will now face Villa who clinically beat Cardiff in the fifth round to secure their spot in the last eight.
Fulham’s reward for beating current holders – Manchester United on penalties sees them drawn at home to London rivals, Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage, after Oliver Glasner’s Eagles beat Millwall in a South-London derby to earn another tasty tie in the Big Smoke.
Bournemouth saw off ten-men Wolves on penalties following a 1-1 draw at home and will again face another home tie at the Vitality Stadium, with Andoni Iraola’s Cherries having drawn last season’s runner-up, Manchester City.
Brighton came from behind to beat Newcastle in extra-time despite red cards for both teams, and will now face Nottingham Forest, after the Tricky Trees beat Ipswich in a nervy penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw.
Quarter-Final ties will be played across the weekend of 29-30 March, with all four matches broadcast live on BBC and ITV in the UK.
