All ten F1 teams unveiled new liveries for the 2025 season at a launch event to mark the sport’s 75th anniversary.
With anticipation reaching fever-pitch ahead of pre-season testing from 26-28 February in Sakhir, Bahrain, F1 kicked off its 75th anniversary year with an official launch event where every team unveiled their new liveries for the upcoming campaign.

Entering the new season as the reigning constructors’ champions following their title success last season, McLaren will look to build on a campaign which saw Lando Norris finish as vice-champion and Oscar Piastri in fourth place with six Grand Prix wins plus two sprint victories in total between the pair.
Last week saw McLaren unveil the MCL39 in an one-off camo livery as they conducted a promotional filming day at Silverstone, which proved a contrast to the official livery which sported a orange front nose whilst black and orange sported the rear end of the car.
“I’m very excited,” commented Norris who is keen to build upon last season. “The whole team are excited after last year. Today it starts.”
Piastri however is keen to fight for the title as he teased his ambitions for the new season.
“I am super excited for what we have in store,” added Piastri. “We want to fight from the beginning.”

Over 12 months on from confirmation of Lewis Hamilton’s shock move to the Scuderia for 2025, the seven-time champion plus Charles Leclerc officially unveiled their new SF-25 livery which saw them opt for a darker red livery, with a slice of white livery at the top of the engine cover.
Red Bull
Following Sergio Perez’s departure in the wake of a difficult 2024 season which saw Red Bull slump to third in the constructors’ standings, the Austrian team promoted Liam Lawson from RB to partner four-time reigning champion – Max Verstappen who claimed his fourth title in Las Vegas.
Their livery however remained their traditional livery as seen in recent seasons.

2025 marks the start of a new era for Mercedes following Hamilton’s departure as Andrea Kimi Antonelli graduates into the premier series, following a single season in F2 in which he took two wins en-route to sixth in the drivers’ standings.
Antonelli will partner George Russell who steps up as the lead driver after three seasons as teammate to Hamilton, with the W16 car set to sport a black rear livery alongside a silver front nose as seen last season, although the new car won’t be unveiled in full until Monday 24 February.
“It’s a privilege to be where I am today,” commented Antonelli who was humble about the opportunity to be part of the launch event as he vowed to work on extracting the best performance he can this season. “I’m really working on myself, to make the best out of this opportunity.”
Aston Martin
Off the back of a tough 2024 season for Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, Aston Martin have retained its iconic green livery but made a leadership change in the off-season as Andy Cowell became Team Principal in a restructure alongside his CEO role, although Mike Krack is still with the team as Chief Trackside Officer.
Aston Martin however won’t unveil their new car in full until Sunday 23 February but Alonso joked that the team has “… the best looking car of the night,” as he commented on the livery.
Alpine
With Jack Doohan making his full-time rookie bow in F1 after a debut outing at the 2024 season finale and will again partner Pierre Gasly, Alpine have gone for a full pink front nose, but has switched from a black to blue livery for the engine cover.
The lower parts of the sidepods however continue to sport black livery as the French constructor seek to bounce back after a difficult 2024, which saw a double-podium finish in a wet Sao Paulo GP prove key to their eventual sixth-placed finish in constructors’ standings.

In a brave move for this season, Haas have revamped their driver line-up with one-time race winner, Esteban Ocon moving across from Alpine to bring the experience alongside Oliver Bearman who makes the full-time step up from F2 – after he previously drove in three races for Ferrari and Haas last season.
“I had a few shots at it last year, this year I get many more so I can’t wait,” explained Bearman as he looked ahead to his first proper season in F1, with Haas as the American team returns to a predominantly white livery with a section of black across the front nose plus whole rear.
The rear wing has retained the traditional red livery with Haas embolden in white font colour.
Racing Bulls
Having opted to switch from their shortened ‘RB’ name to their proper name of ‘Racing Bulls’ for this season, the team have connected with the all-white livery of Campos who runs Red Bull academy juniors in F2 and F3, albeit with a yellow front nose and two bulls branded across the rear.
That move feels all the more fitting as Isack Hadjar graduates into F1 with the team after he finished as 2024 F2 vice-champion with Campos, with the Frenchman set to partner Yuki Tsunoda who is back for a fifth season with the constructor – having previously raced for them under AlphaTauri and RB names.
Williams
2025 sees Carlos Sainz join Williams from Ferrari to partner Alex Albon whilst Atlassian has joined as title partner as the team nodded back to its history, with a darker navy-blue front nose whilst the engine cover is a light blue colour to contrast the navy blue front nose.
“I think it looks great, and I think it’s an improvement on last year,” commented Albon upon seeing the livery.

With their new driver line-up of Nico Hulkenberg who returns to the team for the first time since 2013 season, plus F2 champion and rookie – Gabriel Bortoleto, Sauber will look to enjoy a stronger campaign after they scored just four points in 2024 – courtesy of Guanyu Zhou’s eighth-placed finish in Qatar.
Like in 2024, Sauber have retained their black and green livery for the new season with black splashed across the rear and side-pods, whilst the green runs across the cockpit down the front nose and down to the to two strips of the front wing, which is finished off by a return to black for the front two sections of the front wing.
