BBC and ITV Announce Fifth Round Broadcast Picks in 2024-25 FA Cup

BBC and ITV have announced the UK broadcast picks for the fifth round of 2024-25 FA Cup. 

BBC held first pick in this round and selected Manchester United’s home clash against Fulham at Old Trafford, which will be played on Sunday 2 March, with kick-off confirmed for 4:30pm GMT live on BBC One in the UK.

BBC also held the fourth pick which saw them choose Crystal Palace’s South-London derby against Millwall at Selhurst Park, which will take place at 12:15pm on Saturday 1 March, with the game also live on BBC One.

Preston’s Lancashire derby against Burnley will streamed live on BBC iPlayer with the clash at Deepdale confirmed for 12:15pm on Saturday 1 March.

ITV will commence their live coverage with Aston Villa’s clash against Cardiff City at Villa Park on Friday 28 February in a 8pm kick-off.

Man City’s home tie against Plymouth will air on ITV4 on Saturday 1 March at 5:45pm, with the visitors looking to claim a third Premier League scalp after they shocked Brentford and Liverpool to reach this stage.

Newcastle’s all Premier League meeting against Brighton will take place on Sunday 2 March at 1:45pm live on ITV1 from St James’ Park.

Nottingham Forest will host Ipswich at the City Ground in the concluding tie of the round on Monday 3 March at 7:30pm, with coverage live on ITV4.

Bournemouth’s tie against fellow top-flight rivals, Wolves will be the sole untelevised tie in the UK and is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 1 March, but will be available for international broadcasters.
