2024-25 Sky Bet Championship: Week 33 – Friday

QPR host relegation-battling Derby at Loftus Road as the visitors play their first match under new manager, John Eustace.

Victory will lift QPR up to 11th position and three points off the final play-off spot, whilst Derby can climb to 19th with a win.

Team News

QPR have no fresh injury concerns to report following their midweek loss at Coventry.

Jake Clarke-Salter (hip), Karamoko Dembele (hip), Lucas Andersen (calf) and Zan Celar (hamstring) remain ruled out.

Derby have no fresh injury concerns following their goalless midweek draw at home to Oxford United.

Corey Blackett-Taylor, Dajaune Brown, Kane Wilson (all hamstring) and Curtis Nelson (knee) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

QPR host Derby at Loftus Road on Friday 14 February at 8pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Prediction

Currently on a strong run at home with one loss in their last eight at Loftus Road, QPR certainly need a strong display here after a wasteful late defeat at Coventry which was their third loss in their last four, but this is a great chance to bounce back if can bring their recent home spark into this game.

Derby though are an unknown after just one day of training under Eustace prior to this game but I do expect them to come to West London motivated to impress their new boss, especially after a toothless goalless draw against Oxford Utd which lacked risk in attack but was solid enough for a point.

I however just think that QPR will have too much for Derby if they turn up and play their game clinically without trying to second guess how the Rams could approach this match tactically.

Prediction: QPR 2-1 Derby

Result: QPR 4-0 Derby
