QPR entertain Middlesbrough at Loftus Road in a midweek Championship clash.
Victory would see QPR move out of the relegation zone if Plymouth fail to beat Portsmouth.
Middlesbrough can go seventh with a win if Bristol City and Norwich fail to win elsewhere.
Team News
QPR have no fresh injury concerns following their goalless draw against Sunderland.
Harrison Ashby (hamstring), Michael Frey (calf), Kenneth Paal (thigh), Jack Colback and Liam Morrison (both knee) remain absent.
Middlesbrough will be without Hayden Hackney following his red card in their 3-0 home loss to Coventry.
Darragh Lenihan (fitness), Lukas Engel (muscle) and Tommy Smith (Achilles) are still sidelined.
When is Kick-Off?
QPR host Middlesbrough at Loftus Road on Tuesday 5 November at 7:45pm GMT, live on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
Stat Attack
- QPR have claimed seven points in their last five meetings against Middlesbrough (W2, D1, L2).
- Middlesbrough have won one of their last six visits to QPR (W1, D3, L2).
- QPR have failed to keep a clean sheet against Boro in their last eight home games.
- Championship
- Marcus Forss has scored in both of Boro’s last two league visits to London-based clubs (W2).
Prediction
Despite a dominant but wasteful performance on Saturday, QPR will be happy with their goalless draw against Sunderland but that display needs to be a platform for them to do better this time round.
Middlesbrough likewise were toothless in their 3-0 loss at home to Coventry but unlike QPR, they were totally outclassed by the Sky Blues so a huge reaction is needed to get their play-off push back on track.
Loftus Road is therefore the last place that Boro probably want to come but I do expect a tough game, which could end in a point apiece.
Prediction: QPR 1-1 Middlesbrough
Result: QPR 1-4 Middlesbrough
