Everton host Liverpool at Goodison Park in a rearranged Merseyside derby following its initial postponement due to Storm Darragh.
Victory will lift Everton up to 13th in the table, whilst Liverpool can move nine points clear of Arsenal at the summit with a win.
Team News
Vitaliy Mykolenko is a doubt for Everton after he missed the Toffees’ FA Cup exit against Bournemouth with a calf injury.
Armando Broja (leg), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (hamstring), Youssef Chermiti (thigh), Seamus Coleman (calf), Dwight McNeil (knee) and Orel Mangala (ACL) remain absent.
Liverpool will be without defender, Joe Gomez after he suffered a fresh thigh injury in their shock FA Cup exit away at Plymouth Argyle.
Trent Alexander-Arnold could return after he missed their last two matches with a thigh injury.

Stat Attack
- Everton have won one of their last six meetings against Liverpool (W1, D1, L4).
- Liverpool have won one of their last seven visits to Everton (W1, D5, L1).
- Everton have kept clean sheets in five of their last seven home games against Liverpool.
- Since David Moyes’ return to Goodison Park, Everton have won two of their three recent home matches in the league (W2, L1).
- Mohamed Salah has been involved in 34 of Liverpool’s 56 league goals this season, having produced 21 goals and 13 assists in 23 appearances.
Prediction
First-half defensive errors and a poor end product cost Everton in their FA Cup exit against Bournemouth because they mounted a good second-half response, yet lacked the final touch to stage a comeback but I do expect them to be fired up for this final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
Liverpool meanwhile rested several regulars at Plymouth in a move which backfired because they simply lacked their usual quality and end product, but their loss is also a positive as allows them more rest time in an upcoming hectic period especially if Arsenal catch up to them in the title race.
There is however that switching back to their usual line-up could create a need to bump-start fresh momentum after the fringe players’ loss, but if Liverpool play like they did in their battering of Tottenham in last week’s Carabao Cup clash I can see them taking a routine win no matter what Everton throw at them.
Prediction: Everton 0-2 Liverpool
Result: Everton 2-2 Liverpool
