Bromley have signed winger, Marcus Ifill from Brighton & Hove Albion for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Ifill’s move comes after a positive first half of the season which saw him score five goals and create four assists in 16 appearances across Premier League 2 and Vertu Trophy.
Brighton’s Technical Director, David Weir explained the reasoning behind Ifill’s decision to join Bromley was about game time.
“Marcus wants to play senior football regularly and establish himself and the offer from Bromley gives him that opportunity.
“We wish him the best of luck for the future.”
Ifill had previously graduated through Swindon’s academy before he moved to Brighton in 2020 where he progressed from their Under-18 to Under-21s squads over the last four-and-a-half years.
The 21 year-old will wear the number 19 shirt at Bromley.
Earlier on deadline day, 19 year-old Arsenal defender, Maldini Kacurri joined on loan just months after he made his senior debut for the Gunners in their third-round victory over Bolton Wanderers.
Having previously represented Bromley at youth level before he moved to Fulham, Kacurri is pleased to return on loan to Hayes Lane.
“From when I was about 10 to 15, I was here with the Youth set-up. It’s a familiar place for me and I’m happy to be back.
“I was with Steve Aris. He’s a familiar face for me.”
Arsenal added: “We wish Maldini all the best for his loan spell at Bromley and look forward to seeing his continued development.”
