Jude Arthurs led reaction to the conclusion of Bromley’s historic FA Cup run following 3-1 third-round loss at Newcastle United.

Bromley players and fans however were left with pride at their longest-ever FA Cup run, as Arthurs described their achievement as ‘memories for a lifetime’ in a post on social media platform, X.

Club legend, Michael Cheek described the defeat on Instagram as the ‘best loss’ of his life as he called it a ‘pinch me moment.’

Other players added their reflections on a joyous day for the club, including Ben Thompson who felt that the match was ‘good experience’ as the Ravens return their focus to their hunt for a play-off spot in League Two.

Levi Amantchi meanwhile made a substitute appearance which left him proud to achieve his dream of having played at St James’ Park against the team he supported in childhood.

The impact of Bromley’s FA Cup journey ending at Newcastle extended beyond the players, with assistant manager – Alan Dunne proud to have been on the coaching team as part of this season’s historic run.

Over 3,000 Bromley supporters made the trip and left with special memories as Harry Smith took to X to say that he felt that he has ‘a team to be proud of,’ despite the defeat.
