Roundup of latest Championship action as the top four teams grew closer in the promotion race. 

Abu Kamara’s brace plus Joao Pedro’s 81st minute strike saw third-bottom Hull hold league leaders, Leeds to a 3-3 draw at the MKM Stadium, with Daniel Farke’s Whites having fought back to lead 3-1 through goals from Ao Tanaka, Dan James and Joel Piroe.

Zian Flemming’s 60th-minute header gifted second-placed Burnley a 1-0 win at Lancashire rivals, Blackburn Rovers.

Andre Brooks netted a 53rd-minute winner for third-placed Sheffield United in a 2-1 away victory at Watford, having initially seen Gustavo Hamer’s opening goal cancelled out by Jeremy Ngakia.

Fourth-placed Sunderland remained two points off the second automatic promotion spot following a 1-0 win at home to Portsmouth, as Wilson Isidor struck a seventh-minute winner before the visitors’ Marlon Pack was red carded in the second-half.

Middlesbrough remain fifth but were held to a 1-1 draw at home by second-bottom Cardiff after ex Boro loanee, Calum Chambers cancelled out Emmanuel Latte Lath’s 11th minute strike.

West Brom rounded out the top six with a 1-1 draw at Swansea in which Tom Fellows fired them ahead, before Joe Allen netted an injury-time equaliser for the Swans.

Elsewhere, Bristol City climbed to eighth with a 1-0 home win over Derby as Luke McNally poked in a 19th-minute winner from Scott Twine’s free-kick.

Amankwah Forson’s injury-time brace from off the bench saw Norwich snatch a late 2-1 home win over Coventry, having trailed to Milan van Ewijk’s first-half volley.

Gabriel Otegbayo’s 85th-minute strike rescued Sheffield Wednesday a 2-2 draw at home to Millwall, having initially led through Yan Valery’s early goal before George Honeyman and Ryan Wintle looked to had won the game for Alex Neil’s Lions.

Will Keane rescued a point for Preston in a 1-1 draw at home to Oxford United, after Ruben Rodrigues had put the Us into a first-half lead.

Morgan Fox’s deflective winner saw QPR beat Luton 2-1 after Michael Frey’s goal was cancelled out by Mark McGuinness’s headed equaliser.

Finally, Plymouth remained rock bottom despite being held to a goalless draw at Stoke.
