Bromley extended their unbeaten League Two run to 11 matches with a 1-1 draw against Swindon at Hayes Lane.
Omar Sowunmi headed Andy Woodman’s Ravens in front with a 69th minute header from Idris Odutayo’s cross.
Rosaire Longelo however netted a 72nd minute equaliser from Nnamdi Ofoborh’s short lobbed pass inside the box.
Bromley now sit 12th in the table following completion of later kick-offs whilst Swindon stayed 21st following draws for Harrogate and Tranmere elsewhere.
Post-match, Woodman believed that Swindon had just a draw in mind when they rolled up in South-East London.
“I thought Swindon came here for a point to be honest. I thought that they were just trying to kill the game, kill the tempo of the game and just make the game difficult for us.”
Unbeaten in their last 10 league games and keen to finish 2024 on a high in a year which saw them promoted to the EFL for the first time, Bromley initially found themselves under pressure as Grant Smith saved Danny Butterworth’s third minute shot.
Butterworth however set up Bromley’s first chance with a seventh-minute foul on Ben Thompson, from which Kamarl Grant headed wide the resulting free-kick.
Gavin Kilkenny then went close for Swindon but hit his shot over the bar, whilst Aaron Drinan nodded over as the relegation-battling visitors pushed for an opening goal.
Bromley dug in defensively but Crystal Palace loanee, Danny Imray – currently linked with a move to Wycombe in January – forced Ryan Delaney to block his 23rd minute cross into the air which Daniel Barden saved.
Swindon quickly responded a minute later but Paul Glatzel volleyed over from Longelo’s cross.
Neither team found a breakthrough goal before half-time in a see-saw finish to the first-half, which saw a brief stoppage following Longelo’s foul on Imray but the latter was able to continue after treatment.
Bromley however came out fighting early in the second half as Thompson and Michael Cheek both saw shots blocked in the 48th minute, whilst Thompson fired wide with a long-distance shot 17 minutes later.
Butterworth initially proved to be Swindon’s best threat until Ollie Clarke and Harry Smith came on, which sparked the Robins into life.
Clarke however set up the opening goal with a 67th minute collision with Jude Arthurs, which led Odutayo to whip in a cross which Sowunmi headed in to put Bromley on course for ninth.
That lead proved short-lived as just three minutes later, Longelo flicked in Swindon’s equaliser from Ofoborh’s short lobbed pass inside the box.
Swindon eventually finished the match on top but Smith and Clarke saw shots denied, whilst Corey Whitely fired wide for the Ravens in the 89th minute as Bromley settled for a point.
