England face a difficult start to their title defence against France, Netherlands and Wales in Group D at UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.
Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses enter the tournament as reigning champions and have been drawn into Group D alongside tournament debutants – Wales, with France and Netherlands also in the group.

England will meet France in their opener on 5 July followed by Netherlands and Wales on 9 and 13 July respectively.
World champions, Spain were handed a nightmare group of death after they were put in Group B, in which they will take on Portugal – who they coincidentally will face in their Nations League group in the spring – alongside Belgium and Italy.
Tournament hosts, Switzerland will fancy their chances of progression after they drew Norway, Iceland and Finland in Group A.
Eight-time champions, Germany headline Group C where they will be favourites in a group also containing Poland, Denmark and Sweden.
