Top-six chasing Bournemouth face West Ham at the Vitality Stadium.
Victory will lift Bournemouth up to sixth but a win by three goals or more would see Andoni Iraola’s Cherries climb to fifth.
West Ham will stay 14th regardless of the result but a win would put them just two points off the top ten.
Team News
Tyler Adams is set to return for Bournemouth after he was rested in last weekend’s comeback win at Ipswich.
Marcus Tavernier is ruled out with a muscle injury.
Julian Araujo, Luis Sinisterra (both hamstring), Marcos Senesi (muscle) and Alex Scott (knee) remain absent.
West Ham will be without Emerson Palmieri who is suspended following his fifth booking of the season in a 2-1 home win over Wolves.
Michail Antonio (leg) remains sidelined.
When is Kick-Off?
Bournemouth host West Ham at Vitality Stadium on Monday 16 December at 8pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Bournemouth are winless in their last six league meetings against West Ham (D3, L3).
- West Ham have won one of their last six visits to Bournemouth (W1, D3, L2).
- Ex Bournemouth striker, Dominic Solanke scored in both of the Cherries’ meeting against Tottenham last season.
- Bournemouth have kept one clean sheet in their last seven matches (W4, D1, L2).
- No West Ham player has lost more aerial battles this season than Tomas Soucek (36).
Prediction
Unbeaten in three games following their late comeback at Ipswich having been frustrated in their end product, Bournemouth just need to keep playing their usual intensity but with more composure in the final touches.
West Ham though were lucky to beat Wolves but their performance showed how inconsistent they can be, making it hard to call what to expect but they need consecutive wins if want to cool the pressure on Julen Lopetegui.
I however can’t see that happening here for all of their goalscoring quality because Bournemouth should just have too much for them.
Prediction: Bournemouth 2-1 West Ham
