Leicester City entertain West Ham in their first official game under Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
Victory will lift Leicester up to 15th in the table, whilst West Ham will stay 14th irrespective of the result.
Team News
Caleb Okoli is a doubt for Leicester after he was substituted with a knock in their 4-1 loss at Brentford.
Abdul Fatawu (ACL), Ricardo Pereira (muscle), Harry Winks (groin) and Jakub Stolarczyk (ankle) remain absent.
West Ham will welcome Mohammed Kudus back from his seven-match suspension.
Niclas Fullkrug is unlikely to be risked as he continues to recover from a calf injury.
When is Kick-Off?
Leicester host West Ham at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday 3 December at 8:15pm GMT, live on Amazon Prime in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Leicester have won two of their last six meetings against West Ham (W2, D1, L3).
- West Ham have won one of their last five visits to Leicester (W1, D2, L2).
- Ex Leicester player, Harvey Barnes scored in the Foxes’ last two meetings against West Ham in 2022-23 season.
- No Leicester player this season has put more shots on target than Facundo Buonanotte (9).
- West Ham’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka is looking to score three goals in a single season for the first time in his senior career.
Prediction
After their disastrous capitulation at Brentford on Saturday from 1-0 up, Leicester need to be much sharper because the Bees just outclassed them across the pitch, especially for pace which is a worry given West Ham’s wide threats.
West Ham however must make their own defensive improvements after a first-half horror show against Arsenal, but they do have the attacking quality and confidence to hurt Leicester if play at their best.
On that note, goals do feel likely but I can see West Ham bouncing back with a win if their attack can find their groove again quickly.
Prediction: Leicester 1-2 West Ham
Result: Leicester 3-1 West Ham
