Guide to Third Round Draw in 2024-25 FA Cup

As English football’s giants prepare to enter this season’s FA Cup, here is a guide to the Third Round draw.

The competition hits the serious stage as teams like reigning champions, Manchester United and Premier League leaders, Liverpool enter in this round, alongside the remaining League One and Two teams plus Non League clubs still in the hat.

Bromley meanwhile are making their first appearance at this stage of the competition.

When is the Third Round Draw?

The Third Round draw will take place at approximately 7:10pm GMT on Monday 2 December live on BBC2 in the UK, hosted by Kelly Somers with Dion Dublin and Mark Hughes picking out the balls in the draw.

 

How Many Teams will Feature in Third Round Draw?

44 clubs from across Premier League and Championship will enter the competition at this stage, alongside the 20 Second Round winners.

When is the Third Round Taking Place?

The Third Round will take place from 10-13 January live across BBC and ITV in the UK, with winners receiving £115,000 of prize money plus a Fourth Round spot.
