Laura Blindkilde Brown and Ruby Mace have received maiden call-ups for England’s friendlies against USA and Switzerland.
Ella Toone is ruled out in midfield after she missed Manchester United’s Women’s Super League win at Leicester, having suffered a calf injury.
Leicester’s Ruby Mace has therefore received her maiden senior call-up to replace Toone in midfield.
Lauren Hemp misses out in the forward selection after she needed surgery on a knee injury, and hasn’t been replaced up front as her Manchester City teammate – Laura Blindkilde Brown was instead called up for the first time in midfield.
In defence, Lucy Parker and Lotte Wubben-Moy have both been dropped in favour of Manchester United duo, Gabby George and Millie Turner.

Manager, Sarina Wiegman explained that the squad must look to make “every minute of those two games and every moment spent together at St. George’s Park…” count as preparations continue for UEFA Women’s Euro next July.
Wiegman added that facing USA and Switzerland will allow the team to test themselves “against the very best” who can “challenge” them in a variety of ways, whilst allowing her to understand where to improve going into the February and April windows.
England host USA at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 30 November at 5:20pm GMT live on ITV1, before meeting Switzerland at Bramall Lane, Sheffield, on Tuesday 3 December at 7:45pm live on ITV4.
