Millwall host promotion-chasing Burnley at The Den in a Championship clash.

Victory would see Millwall climb to seventh in the table, whilst Burnley can go third with a win but a winning margin of three goals or more would put them second.

 

Team News

Millwall have no fresh injury concerns to report but Tom Bradshaw (muscle), Josh Coburn (leg), Adam Mayor (hamstring) and Billy Mitchell (hip) could return if fit.

Burnley will be without Zian Flemming who is ineligible to face his parent club, but Jeremy Sarmiento (knock) faces a late fitness test.

Joe Worrall (foot), Lyle Foster, Nathan Redmond (knee), Manuel Benson (calf), Mike Tresor (leg), Hannes Delcroix, Hjalmar Ekdal (muscle), Jordan Beyer (hamstring) and Aaron Ramsay (ACL) remain sidelined.

Prediction

With one loss in their last six and capable of grinding out results with resilient performances, Millwall can’t be underestimated because they’re a good team who know how to suffer but snatch a clinical result as they did at Swansea.

Burnley meanwhile are unbeaten in nine games which is impressive given their injury list, even though they have grinded out draws in three of their last four games which further shows their depth and grit as a team.

The Clarets’ away record in London lately however is pretty poor and with their injury list, Millwall surely have to smell blood but both teams know how to dig in currently so this could be close with the points shared.
