Wrexham entertain Huddersfield at the Racecourse Ground in a League One clash.
Victory would see Wrexham go top if Birmingham fail to beat Bolton, whilst Huddersfield can go as high as third with a win if any or all of Wycombe, Mansfield and Exeter fail to win elsewhere.
Team News
Wrexham have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 1-0 win at Rotherham.
Jack Marriott (calf), Max Cleworth and George Evans (both ankle) remain ruled out.
Huddersfield will welcome defender, Brodie Spencer back into contention after he missed their 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers due to suspension.
Lee Nicholls (elbow), Michal Helik (hamstring), Joe Hodge (groin), Josh Koroma (back) and Radinio Balker (ankle) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Wrexham host Huddersfield at Racecourse Ground on Tuesday 22 October at 7:45pm BST, live on Sky Sports + in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Wrexham have won one of their last seven league meetings against Huddersfield (W1, D1, L5).
- Huddersfield have lost one of five previous league visits to Wrexham (W2, D2, L1).
- Wrexham have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five league matches at home to Huddersfield.
- Elliot Lee has scored in each of Wrexham’s last four home matches (W4).
- Huddersfield have won one of their last four league games on the road (W1, L3).
Prediction
Firmly in the promotion hunt, Wrexham should be pleased at how they saw off Rotherham especially with a resilient second-half defence, which will stand them well here against an in-form Huddersfield.
Huddersfield though will be disappointed to have conceded against Bristol Rovers in a comfortable win, but they do finally seem to be clicking after their recent rut and are definitely promotion contenders given their quality.
Nevertheless I do expect a tough battle here between two promotion challengers and a draw might be the fairest outcome.
Prediction: Wrexham 1-1 Huddersfield
Result: Wrexham 0-0 Huddersfield
