Doncaster Rovers host Bromley in a midweek Sky Bet League Two encounter.
Victory would see Doncaster move top if Port Vale loses elsewhere, whilst Bromley can go as high as 18th with a win if results elsewhere swing in their favour.
Team News
Zain Westbrooke is available for Doncaster after he missed their 2-1 win at Swindon for personal reasons.
Richard Wood remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
Bromley have no fresh injury concerns to report with a full squad in contention, although manager – Andy Woodman could rotate his squad.
Carl Jenkinson and Byron Webster are amongst fringe players who will look for a start here.
When is Kick-Off?
Doncaster host Bromley at Eco-Power Stadium on Tuesday 22 October at 7:45pm BST, live on Sky Sports + in the UK.
Stat Attack
- This is Doncaster’s first-ever meeting against Bromley in all competitions.
- Bromley are visiting Doncaster at Eco-Power Stadium for the first time in their history.
- Doncaster’s two bookings at home this season both came in the first half.
- Bromley’s three goals in two previous trips to Yorkshire-based teams this season were scored in the second-half (W1, L1).
Prediction
Unbeaten this month, Doncaster deserved their gritty away win at Swindon given how dominant they were on the attack but this is a case of continuing their momentum and staying in the automatic promotion mix.
Bromley meanwhile are just sliding into a relegation fight with little change in luck and defending, which makes me think that Woodman must ring the changes here and add Jenkinson plus Webster to boost the experience in defence.
Should he not and results don’t improve, the board really should start considering alternative managers and make a change soon given the attacking quality and potential in this squad.
I however just can’t see Doncaster not winning here unless Bromley produce a defensive display akin to their goalless draw at Fleetwood Town, but the Rovers’ attack should be too strong given the contrast in form.
Prediction: Doncaster Rovers 2-1 Bromley
Result: Doncaster Rovers 0-1 Bromley
