Defender, Kellen Fisher has signed a new four-year contract at Norwich City until June 2028, with option for a further year.
Fisher joined the Canaries from Bromley in June 2023 and has gone on to make 17 total appearances for the club.
The 20 year-old earned a call-up to England Men’s Elite Squad in June 2024 to cap an impressive debut campaign last season, in which he made 14 senior appearances.
Speaking to www.canaries.co.uk about his new four-year contract which will keep him at Carrow Road until June 2028 with an option for a 12-month extension , Fisher is pleased to tie down his immediate future.
“I’m really happy, it’s a really proud moment for me and my family to extend my stay here and hopefully a lot more good moments.
“It’s been a big step up, but it’s something I’m really proud of. Hopefully now, I can kick on and show more.”
Norwich’s Sporting Director, Ben Knapper added that Fisher had earned his new contract on merit, with an excellent attitude towards his development.
“We are delighted to reward Kellen’s progress over the past 15 months with this new contract.
“He has accelerated his own pathway here, and his development has been clear for all to see. His approach to his work every single day is absolutely first class, and we couldn’t be happier with him.
Knapper also acknowledged Norwich’s recruitment team as he added: “I must also congratulate our recruitment department, as Kellen really was a fantastic find.
“He is now an important part of our group and someone that we are committed to working with for the foreseeable future.
“We are all looking forward to seeing him continue to go from strength to strength.”
