Defender, Tim Ream has left Fulham to join MLS’ Charlotte FC for an undisclosed fee.
Ream joined Fulham from Bolton Wanderers in July 2015 and went on to score five goals 312 appearances for the Cottagers, during which he helped them to promotion to the Premier League on three occasions.
The 36 year-old issued a farewell statement to Fulham fans in which he spoke of his nine memorable years in West London.
“When I walked through the Motspur Park doors in 2015, I would have never predicted what the following nine years would bring,” commented Ream.
“The memories made, the connections formed, and the people met along the way have made my time at Fulham more than special.
“I wish I could thank everyone individually for the part they played in shaping me as player, but more as a person. For all of that, I am beyond grateful.
“As of today, I am no longer a player, but I will always be a fan of Fulham Football Club.”
Vice-Chairman and Director of Football Operations, Tony Khan added that Ream leaves with best wishes on behalf of everyone at the club

Charlotte FC General Manager, Zoran Krneta described Ream as Fulham’s defensive “rock”, as he spoke of the defender’s quality.
“His Premier League and World Cup credentials speak for themselves, and he’s been ever present in big moments for club and country.
“He comes to us in good form and upgrades an already excellent defense as we prepare for the final stretch of the season to qualify for the playoffs.”
Zrneta added that he believes that Ream can play a part in the club’s push for a maiden MLS title, as they look to qualify for the Play-Offs.
“Tim is the type of player who is hungry for trophies, and he can help us push for our first one. He is a leader on the pitch and in the locker room, and he will be an invaluable mentor to our younger players.”
