- Given the high downforce nature of the Hungaroring, this circuit could well suit Ferrari who need a clean race if want to reignite their title hopes.
- Hungaroring is a circuit where it is difficult to overtake unless tyre degradation comes into play, which means that Qualifying could well be crucial in determining the likely race result.
- With fresh upgrades, Mercedes will be hoping for further improvement after a strong Silverstone weekend.
- Having seen Nico Hulkenberg maximise the performance of their upgrades at Silverstone, Haas should feel confident of a strong result for both cars here.
- Hot track temperatures are forecast all weekend which could well place further importance on tyre management with less grip on the track surface.
